This video is a demonstration of a software tool for investigating and comparing the performance of a few nonlinear smoothers. For instance, one point or all points can be perturbed, and the resulting smoothed curves compared. The data used show precipitation in Halifax, Nova Scotia, and student marks in French and mathematics.
